Partner program terms

These terms apply to the Merch Ads Pro partner program, between you ("partner") and operator legal name and address ("we", "us"). They add to the terms of service, which also apply to you.

Joining

You apply from your account. We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. Once approved, you get a referral link with your own code and a partner dashboard in your account.

How referrals are tracked

  • When someone opens your referral link, we set a first-party cookie, mp_ref, on merchadspro.com for 30 days. It holds your code and the time it was set; see the privacy policy.
  • If that person creates a new Merch Ads Pro account within 30 days, the account is credited to you. Credit is final.
  • The first partner link wins: a later link from another partner does not replace an existing cookie.
  • Existing accounts are not credited, and you cannot refer yourself.

Commission

  • You earn 10% of every paid invoice of a customer credited to you, for as long as their subscription lasts.
  • Commission is calculated on the amount paid, excluding taxes, in the currency of the invoice.
  • The rate is fixed when the customer is credited to you. If we change your rate, the new rate applies only to customers credited after the change.
  • Commission is recorded only while your partner account is active.

Holding period and refunds

Each commission is held for 30 days from the payment date before it becomes payable. If the payment is refunded in full or in part, or charged back, the commission is reduced accordingly. If the commission has already been paid, the difference is deducted from your next payout.

Payouts

  • Once a month, on the 1st, we prepare payouts of all payable commission, per currency.
  • A payout is made when your payable balance in a currency reaches 200 USD or the equivalent. Below that, the balance carries over to the next month.
  • Payouts are sent by PayPal or bank transfer. You are responsible for giving us correct payout details and for any taxes on your earnings.
  • Your dashboard shows each payout with its date and reference, and we email you when a payout is made.

What your dashboard shows

Your dashboard shows your link, visits and sign-ups by month, the number of paying customers you referred, your commission by status and your payout history. It never shows the names, email addresses or other details of the people you referred.

Promoting Merch Ads Pro

You may promote Merch Ads Pro in your own content, courses, communities and newsletters. You agree not to:

  • send unsolicited messages (spam);
  • make claims about results, earnings or features that are not true;
  • present yourself as Merch Ads Pro or as Amazon, or use our name in a way that suggests you are us;
  • bid on "Merch Ads Pro" or misspellings of it in paid search ads;
  • use cookie stuffing, hidden links, or any other method to set the cookie without a person choosing to open your link;
  • create or promote content that is offensive, harmful or illegal.

You must follow the laws and guidelines that apply to your promotion, including the FTC's rules on disclosing that you earn a commission. Commission from referrals that break these rules may be cancelled.

We make no promise about your income or success in the program.

Suspension and ending

You can leave the program at any time from your account. We may suspend or end your participation if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. When your participation is suspended or ends, your link stops setting the cookie, no new commission is recorded, and you must remove your referral links from your content. Commission already recorded and not cancelled stays payable under these terms.

Changes

We may change these terms or the program. We email partners at least 30 days before a change that reduces commission or changes payouts. Changes to the rate apply only to customers credited after the change.
